AGED 21-24
• Must have held full driving licence for a period of 4 years
• NOT permitted to drive minibuses/MPVs/7.5 ton vehicles
• Basic damage excess increased by £400 to £900
• The customer must supply the card part of their driving licence, as well as printing off their
driving licence points history from https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence and 2 forms of ID from the
acceptable ID criteria list; (see below)
• If the customer does not have the facilities to print their own information, then they MUST bring
their national insurance number in with them
•21-22 years old must be free from conviction
• 23-24 years old are permitted one minor conviction (3 points) in last 3 years
AGED 25 AND ABOVE
• Must have held a full driving licence for a period of 3 years with a maximum of 6 points
• For vehicle hire the age limit is 75
• Only one incident in the last 5 years with costs resulting in £5000 or less
• The customer must supply the card part of their driving licence, as well as printing off their driving
licence point’s history from http://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence and 2 forms of ID from the
